03Instruments
The desk trades a focused set of liquid futures — equity indices and gold. Which contracts are traded on a given day depends on market conditions.
Equity index
CME
Tracks the Nasdaq-100 — the largest non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq. Typically shows wider intraday ranges than the broader index contracts.
Equity index
CME
Tracks the S&P 500 — the broad benchmark of U.S. large-cap equities and one of the deepest futures markets in the world.
Equity index
CBOT
Tracks the Dow Jones Industrial Average — thirty established U.S. blue-chip companies in a price-weighted index.
Metals
COMEX
Physically delivered gold futures. Responds to interest rates, the U.S. dollar and broader risk sentiment — a different driver set from equities.
Trading hours
CME Globex, Sunday–Friday, with a daily break from 17:00 to 18:00 ET.
Selection
Instruments are chosen day by day according to liquidity, volatility and structure.
Scope
A representative list, not an exhaustive one — and never a recommendation to trade.
04Approach
Four stages, repeated every session. A defined process governs how decisions are made — it does not guarantee how they turn out.
Identify selected liquid markets and the prop firm accounts to trade them in.
Define risk parameters before execution and monitor exposure throughout the trading session.
Execute trades according to predefined criteria rather than emotional decision-making.
Analyze execution, market conditions and outcomes to identify opportunities for process improvement.
05Trading sessions
Liquidity, volatility and participation change throughout the trading day. The operation evaluates market conditions within defined trading windows rather than trading continuously.
Times in U.S. Eastern (ET). Session windows are approximate. CME Globex daily maintenance halt 17:00–18:00 ET.
19:00 – 04:00 ET
Overnight context
Typically thinner participation. The desk records the overnight range and developing structure as reference for later sessions.
03:00 – 11:30 ET
Developing structure
Participation increases as European markets open. Key levels and pre-market conditions are mapped ahead of the U.S. open.
09:30 – 16:00 ET
Primary execution window
The U.S. cash session generally brings the deepest liquidity in equity-index futures. Execution is concentrated in defined windows here.
No session is inherently profitable; conditions are assessed every day.

07Analytics
Results from account BX-…7664, a simulated funded account provided by a third-party prop firm. Every figure is calculated from the account's trade export, net of commissions and fees.
EQUITY CURVE · TRADE BY TRADE · JUL 24 – SEP 28, 2026
START $50,000
Results are from a simulated funded account provided by a third-party proprietary trading firm and do not represent trading with actual capital. Simulated results have inherent limitations — they may not reflect the impact of liquidity, slippage or other real-market conditions. Past performance, simulated or actual, is not indicative of future results.
Methodology: P&L is closed P&L per trade, net of commissions and fees, as exported from the account. Equity curve and maximum drawdown use trade-by-trade closed equity from a $50,000 starting balance. Profit factor = gross profit ÷ gross loss. A winning day is a session with positive net P&L.
08Review
Every trade is reviewed against the plan. The journal records what was executed, whether it followed the rules and what should change.
